The Bankes Arms Inn in Studland, Dorset, could almost be the model for any other traditional country inn. Dating back to the 16th century and built from local quarry stone, the pub is surrounded by the lush Purbeck countryside. The Bankes Arms offers cosy open fires in winter, a large outdoor seating area for refreshing drinks in summer and a warm welcome all year round.
