Just an easy and well loved route this morning as wanted to get back for church in the afternoon... and couldnt get out yesterday because of rain and work - different pics of Japanese garden and blissfully deserted as got there before 10am

Usual Newstead Yomp: newness- they've put a film 'Hartwood' in kinetic film cameras (you stick your head inside, wind the handle and it plays the film ) 🎥 Stopped at Brooke Farm to mooch for plants and have lunch - always pleasantly busy here and reasonable prices.
Didnt take me 2 hours and whatever Komoot i think you recorded me going round lidl afterwards 🤭😂🤷‍♀️
Glorious weather on this second September in Nottinghamshire. I'd originally planned a circular route, but having parked for free in front of the horse and groom pub in Linby, I used the Linby Top Cross route via National Cycling route no. 6, down through conservation area and then turning right onto station avenue so more of a 'there and back' …
