The parish church in Clowne was built in 1138. Originally dedicated as "All Saints", the church stood adjacent on the ridgeway route between Mansfield and Worksop Priory.

Wollen Meadow is small and hidden, it's a nice little detour off the main road. couple of picnic tables in the clearings. look out for some of the wildlife - although I didn't spot any this time!
