A worthwhile stop either if you are passing through or planning to walk nearby; the castle is free to enter alongside the castle grounds and park. When visiting in late May, I was lucky enough to see loads of Long Tailed Tit chicks!! They must have hatched a few weeks prior & they were all over the woods!
