Allen's View

Highlight • Structure

There are a few carved sculptures to discover in the greenery. Unspectacular, but nice if you're already there.

Tenby Town Walls

Highlight • Historical Site

Tenby is a coastal town in the county of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is located on Carmarthen Bay.
The town's old castle walls have been preserved, as has Victorian revival architecture in a pastel color scheme.

Tenby North Beach is easy to find when in Tenby thanks to the iconic Goscar Rock protruding from the sand in the center of the strip. The beach is one of the most loved in the area and is nestled between Harbor Beach and the elegant North Cliffs. This means the sand faces east, meaning it catches the sun all day and feels warm, even when the wind is blowing hard.

Great place to start a walk on the coast to Saundersfoot. Walking shoes or boots required in winter / Spring as lots of muddy section involved

Five Arches Gate, Tenby

Highlight • Monument

The medieval town walls of Tenby are some of the best-preserved and most historically important town walls in the UK. The walls are listed Grade I as 'one of the most important surviving medieval city walls in Britain'.

The Five Arches is at the site of the West Gate (the only surviving gated entrance to the walled town).

Sergeants Lane and Tenby Brewery

Highlight • Viewpoint

This is a beautiful small lane, totally occupied by the Tenby Brewery. Rest here for a variety of their beers and a good snack. Even if you don't like beer, this small passage is a must see due to its cozy beauty. Busy during opening hours, though.

View of Tenby Castle

Highlight • Historical Site

Built in the 12th century, only the tower survives of Tenby Castle these days. With views out to sea and across to St Catherine’s Island, it’s an atmospheric place to be.

St Catherine's Island is a small limestone outcrop with lots of tidal caves. On top of the island is a fort that was built during the Napoleonic Wars. You can access the island for three hours either side of low tide.
