Ace pub with a good little garden to the rear. Currrently home to the Monkshood coffee van while we are in lockdown which is also very much recommended!

Oving Village

Highlight (Segment) • Settlement

Oving is a lovely village, especially in the spring when the flowers are in full bloom. Black Boy pub is hidden away in a small corner of the village.  Worth a transit, especially as the roads are lovely and quiet.

Situated on the village green in Quainton, the George and Dragon can cater for many needs. As well as being a pub that serves great home cooked food, it is also a coffee house and a village store.

So whether you're stocking up for the day ahead, popping in for a slice of cake or settling in after a long walk in the Buckinghamshire countryside, this place has got you covered. Not only this, there's a lovely view of Quainton Windmill. What's not to love?

Between East and Botolph Claydon, is this unique thatched shelter built around an ancient tree. There are lovely views of rural Bucks through the gates behind the tree.
