Very nice place to cross the Tauber. But always make sure that you are not overlooked by oncoming traffic (cars). The bridge is quite narrow.

A really contrasting tour on the Main and Tauber. Magnificent surroundings and absolutely varied due to the fog. Sometimes nice and warm when the sun is shining and sometimes almost too cold when the fog does its part. Still very nice 👍

This was the 4th and final section of our lovely Tauber Valley bike tour.
For me personally the most beautiful section.

If you also ride the first 3-4 kilometers on a cycle path next to the road, it then becomes wonderfully close to nature and sometimes far away from civilization and roads.
I was particularly enthusiastic about the paths between …

Today we did the last stage of the Tauber cycle path. We started in Tauberbischofsheim where the cycle path was immediately closed. We then took a detour, which in hindsight was unnecessary, on the way back we drove through, a small construction site, nothing else 🤷‍♀️
Wertheim's old town was worth seeing, after a coffee ☕️ break we headed back. …

Beautiful weather and a great bike path, a great combination. Due to the bridge holiday, the bike path was quite busy.

Today we did a lovely ride from Wertheim to Tauberbischofsheim. There were good paths, mostly along the water. It was just a shame that the cycle path was closed in Niklashausen. This meant that we had to cover a few kilometres on the main road. Instead of shade and a river, we had blazing sun and car traffic. It was …

Comfortable bike tour with 4 adults + 1 child to Bestenheid (Löwengarten) - Wertheim (city) and back.

Showing Translation

The Tauber cycle path is closed between Werbach and Gamburg due to construction work. The diversion takes you 7 km along the road, but it is easy to ride and there was not much traffic.
