Highlight • Forest

A gentle climb to the top of the Forest from Emery Down. Easy access to Bolderwood Descent to the south, Redshot for Ringwood to the west or Stoney Cross Airfield for Roger Penny Way to the north after descending from the Canadian War Memorial under the A31.

Perfect place to spot New Forest wildlife. The felled softwood makes it easy to spot deer and ponies.

It's a beautiful section of narrow road but can get busy with cars in the summer.

Pedal along Rhinefield Ornamental Drive and you'll pass Blackwater Arboretum. Keep and eye out for the Giant Sequoias on the west of the road. There is often an ice-cream van at the car park too.
