Speyside Way: Aviemore to Boat of Garten

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

An extremely tranquil, pretty and (rare in the region) mostly flat trail, the Speyside Way extends much further than this section. This is a particularly scenic part though; plenty of wildlife and vegetation, a good smooth path and great views.

Dalfaber Road (NCN 7)

Highlight • Trail

Part of NCN 7, Dalfaber Road is a quiet narrow road running on the east side of the railway. It's a much quieter alternative than the busy High Street on the other side of the tracks.

A fun and beautifully winding gravel bike path towards Loch an Eileen. Not technical, just enjoying the beautiful scenery.

A lovely wide gravel road, but beware, you'll share it with car traffic. While it's not a busy road, this can come as a surprise if you've mainly cycled on car-free roads through the woods. From the winding gravel road, you'll have stunning views of the Cairngorms.
