Lassalyckan Recreation Area on the outskirts of Ulricehamn is southern Sweden's first official Vasaloppet centre. This year-round venue provides the very best facilities for cross-country skiing, trail running and mountain biking. In addition, it has a gym and other indoor sports arenas. This bespoke facility provides excellent training opportunities, and as a result there is a whole network of well-marked walking trails meshed into the whole area.

The trails run through a beautiful forest environment and are well marked. Most of the trails start and end at the recreation centre, which is only a ten-minute walk from the bus stop at Simhallen.
