Cape Le Grand Coastal Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Cape Le Grand Coastal Trail is a spectacular 15-kilometre walk that stretches along the park’s coastline, connecting beaches, headlands, and granite peaks. The trail runs through a mix of pristine white-sand beaches, rocky headlands and heathland, with sections that can be soft underfoot or require careful navigation over uneven terrain. Along the way, there are expansive panoramas over the Southern Ocean, including iconic spots like Lucky Bay. This shorter section near Hellfire Bay follows a well-defined path from the car park to Little Hellfire Bay, and is an easy walk with sweeping coastal views the entire way.

Thistle Cove

Highlight • Beach

The cove is part of the national park. A bit smaller than the more famous Lucky Beach, but much more private. Although of course it depends on the season and the Australian vacation. As with all bays in the NP, you will find clear water and white sand.
Definitely a recommendation.

Hellfire Bay

Highlight • Natural

Hellfire Bay is stunning, lined with a crescent-shaped beach known for its brilliant white sand and clear turquoise water. Surrounded by smooth granite headlands, the bay offers a sheltered setting with typically calm conditions, making it popular for swimming and relaxing. A short walk from the car park leads down to the shoreline, where the contrast between the bright sand, blue water and surrounding bush creates one of the most iconic coastal scenes in Cape Le Grand National Park.
