Schrems Moor Bath

In summer, bathers can use the Moorbad outdoor pool and some bathing ponds in the vicinity. (E.g. the Elia pond, which is the warmest swimming pond in the municipality. Please do not jump into the water! Because of the shallow water there is a risk of injury!)

The water of this natural bathing pond, which has always been said to have beneficial effects by the local population, comes directly from the raised bog.

With the leisure facility Moorbad, visitors have a modern, natural outdoor pool with countless possibilities.

In addition to a spacious wooden terrace, a grass terrace, a lawn for sunbathing, four jetties and a sandy beach filled with Danube pebbles await the bathers. A fascinating footbridge - the "floating stones" - leads to the small island at the end of the bathing area. A beach volleyball court was set up on the south bank.
