St. Katharina Church

As early as the 11th century, there was a small, stone Romanesque church in the village, before the community decided to build a new church at the beginning of the 18th century due to the advanced decline of the building. Construction began in 1732 and the first service could be celebrated just three years later. The baroque church was consecrated on September 30, 1743.
Over the years the church has been renovated several times, most recently in 1991/1992.
The southern part of the defensive wall around the churchyard was renovated in 2012/2013.
