July 5, 2025,🏞Diemelradweg Quelle bis Wrexen👍
Today we set off from the Westfalenhof guesthouse in Usseln to the Diemel spring. The Diemel spring is beautifully landscaped. We followed several gravel paths to the Diemelsee lake. We took a break at the very beautiful Diemelsee lake, crossed the dam wall to the highest point in Padberg, and from there it was only downhill to Wrexen. We stayed …

From the Diemelquelle to Wrexen. A really good tour.

The Diemel Cycle Path combines varied landscapes, peace and relaxation with active leisure activities, culture and history.

Rated 5 stars by the General German Bicycle Club, the Diemel Cycle Path has been one of the two most excellent quality cycle paths in Germany since 2023 and has received the best possible award from the ADFC.

I cycled the Dienel cycle path. I saw the springs, which were unspectacular, as springs tend to be.
It rained a little just before, then more on the way to Willingen.
I liked the Diemel cycle path. Of course, it was also a little strenuous.

Showing Translation

The Diemel Cycle Path is one of the few five-star cycle paths awarded by the German Cyclists' Club (ADFC). Today's tour took us to Wrexen. We took the bus to Bad Arolsen for the night, which will take us back to the cycle route in Wrexen tomorrow morning.
