Great view, as the tower is also suitable for not quite free from giddiness.

Hiking on the mountain between Nordrach and Gengenbach. Here you will always meet many hikers and cyclists on weekends and holidays. From here you can also directly to the Mosskopfturm …

Lothar Memorial and Viewpoint

Highlight • Monument

A monument to the hurricane Lothar, which reshaped some Black Forest peaks at Christmas 1999. Since there are no more trees around, the place offers a fantastic view of the Kinzigtal valley.

In addition to chilled non-alcoholic drinks, there are also distillates from the Bruder family (Kapelleck-Hof) and various snacks (e.g. peanuts). The non-alcoholic drinks can be accessed by cranking them, as they are stored in the ground for cooling.

The altitude is probably not quite right.
It is certainly 100-150 meters less

This tour through the shady Black Forest is just the thing for warm days. The rewards are the panoramic views, whether of the forest or vineyards, and the magnificent Staufenberg Castle. Great rest stops where you can also sample delicious treats. Truly a great piece of earth 🌍
A true paradise for 🚴🏽‍♀️🥾🚵🏻‍♀️
Battery 🔋 held up well

Will become one of my favorite tours, has everything I love: Black Forest with shady forest paths at dizzy heights, rocky trails, beautiful views and vineyards. Vending machines and places to eat.

15km uphill, 15km back on the run. I made a special trip in the morning, but it felt like it was already 30°C+ again.
I skipped the Mooskopfturm itself; it's only accessible via large rocks and steps.
