I often cycle from Dömitz to Wittenberge, there I go over the railway bridge, on which there is also a crossing for pedestrians and cyclists, and then I go back on the other side of the Elbe. If you don't want to cycle that far, you can also cross the Elbe by ferry, with the Lenzen-Pevestorf ferry or the Lütkenwisch-Schnackenburg ferry.
