After years without a usable mountain bike, I finally got a new fully: a Canyon Neuron CF 8. Not the most exciting bike, but it was a bargain. 🙂

First impression: Rolls smoother than the old 26er, seating position fits, standard Ergon saddle fits. Also the first carbon bike and the first one-by for me. Unusual, but sensibly graduated.

Today I did a very nice walk through the Grunewald and went up the Drachenberg twice, the view over Berlin is very beautiful. There were very nice trails and the Havelhöhenweg is also wonderful. The elevation gain was 580 meters though ;-)
