You can catch a glimpse of Lake Constance here. Countless small shells lie at your feet. You also have a beautiful view of Langenargen Castle. And every now and then a duck walks in front of the camera lens. 🥰

After the Kettensteg in Nuremberg and the Tiergartenbrücke in Berlin, this bridge is the third oldest suspension bridge in Germany and as such a very special bridge structure of its time, which is still worth a visit today!

The bridge is the oldest cable suspension bridge in Germany and was made in Paris. For technology freaks, this bridge is something special.

It had rained in the morning. That brought a brief cooling. We set off in the afternoon heat. A beautiful bike path. The bear raged in Friedrichshafen. Lots of party groups. Montfort Castle in Langenargen was impressive.

When it rains heavily, I stand on Lake Constance in my rental van. I wanted to drive at least a few meters even if it was windy, cold and raining non-stop.
But I now know a good Croatian restaurant in Friedrichshafen. 😉👍

Officially, we went to the Zeppelin Memorial in Friedrichshafen. Unofficially, we went to the beach club. Chilling, enjoying, observing. Wonderful.

Today a visit to the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen was on the agenda. Totally interesting and also very suitable for children. You should have seen it. 130 airships were built here.

We start the Lake Constance bike tour in Friedrichshafen. This place and also Lindau seem overcrowded to us, full of tourists. We like the small places in between much more and they have their own charm: Langenargen with Montfort Castle, Kressbronn with the long pier, moated castle with castle. After Friedrichshafen, you should definitely make a detour to the Eriskircher …
