Today was great "no-jacket weather" again 😎, so let's get out there...!

The car 🚘 drove us to Karlsruhe, and from there we went on foot 🥾 to the Altrhein Maxau Nature Reserve and the Burgau Nature Reserve/LSG.

Grey herons, swans, geese, and cormorants also seemed to enjoy the weather and posed for the camera, sometimes more, sometimes less professionally...😅

Beautiful and varied circuit between the Rhine and the lake or arms of the old Rhine on the one hand and the infrastructure of a large port on the other with its harbor gate and the unloading and loading piers of the huge ships. Hofgut Maxau and "Das Schiff" provided good food afterwards. A great afternoon with friends!
