Besko Memorial Square

The square is nicely lit at night, as if from below. Small architecture, benches, monument.

In the summer season, next to the square there is an open ice cream stand from the Jagusia confectionery from Krosno. Scoop PLN 6.50, approx. 10 flavors. I recommend mascarpone with raspberry and coffee with walnut. 😀

Behind the square, on the same side of the road, there is an Orthodox church on a hill.

Closer to the Wisłok River, on the other side of the main street (DK28), there is a sports and bicycle shop.

Hiking tourists who do not have cars can reach Besko by Kubuś buses serving the Krosno - Zarszyn - Sanok route.

A portion of "placki po zbójnicku" (a type of potato pancake) for 35 PLN is abundant, definitely too much for a child.
Pierogi with meat cost 23 PLN (12 pieces) and are tasty - the filling is not wet, it does not spill out of a cut pieróg.
Carpathian burger for 36 PLN, Lipton tea with lemon for 8 PLN.

The car can be parked on the left side of the Gospoda, where there is shade in the afternoon.

Be careful when joining traffic! National Road 28 is busy. Some drivers do not observe the speed limit of 40 km/h and appear unexpectedly from around the bend.
