Ca l'Alemany

Highlight • Historical Site

Ca l'Alemany is an old farmhouse in the Canyet de Badalona neighborhood, located in the Betlem or San Jeroni valley, near the Turó de Montigalà, halfway between the city, marked by the B-20, and the Sant Jeroni de la Murtra monastery.

Currently only ruins remain, the best preserved part of which are the laundry room in the courtyard and the arches that accompany it. Despite its status, it is currently protected as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest.

An archaeological excavation confirmed the presence of a previous Roman villa, which would later have given way to the farmhouse. Despite its state, it is still a characteristic element of the landscape of the Sant Jeroni valley.

The Cruz de Montigalá is an icon of the city of Badalona. From here there are beautiful panoramic views of a large part of the Serralada de Marina, Badalona and Barcelona.

Puig Castellar Iberian Settlement

Highlight • Historical Site

Located at the top of the hill that bears the same name within the Sierra de Marina Park, the Iberian town of Puig Castellar constitutes an emblematic symbol and identity for Santa Coloma.

At 303 m high and with a surface area slightly greater than 4,000 m2, the magnificent conditions of defense and control of the territory do not lead one to think that it must have been an important town. This location allowed vision and communication with nearby settlements, since it controlled an important stretch of the coastline, the mouth of the Besós, the Barcelona plain and the passage inland, towards Vallés.

Iberian Settlement of Puig Castellar

Highlight • Historical Site

The Iberian settlement of Puig Castellar is an Iberian settlement located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, at the top of Puig Castellar, 303 m. It was founded by the Laietan tribe around the 6th century BC and was abandoned between the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. It is worth noting the old part, sunny, and the new part, in the shade. It is one of the best preserved Iberian settlements around the city of Barcelona.

Hermitage of Saint Climent

Highlight • Religious Site

Built in 1673, it is a rectangular building with a semicircular head. It is said of Sant Climent, a water lawyer, because at that time there was a lack of water in Sant Jeroni.
