Very nice and easy to walk tour. The trail and restaurants at the beginning seem to be popular with the locals too. What could speak for quality. The view of the valley and the tame finches are definitely terrific.

This is a very easy hike, more of a walk to a nice viewing platform. Here you can see the highest mountain peaks on the island and there are plenty of Madeiran chaffinches. These are very tame and come here to eat, if you have a few nuts or seeds with them they can also be put on hand.
