Coastal bike path

Highlight • Cycleway

The bike path meanders along the beach far south through an impressive landscape. Again and again the view of the sea opens up. Further down, we recommend a detour to the l‘Abufera nature reserve.

Fabulous spring day. Exit with @Fermin super nice. The rice fields are already being covered with water. Soon everything will be an immense mirror.

Smooth and quiet route to meet some Komoot users.
I was very happy to chat with @Rafa Mullor , @Gonzalo and @Edgar Fadrique .
It won't be the last...

A classic and always pleasant route, but today the wind made it difficult for us in some areas (my daughter just arrived in the last section with the wind against her) ;-)

The Albufera Natural Area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the province of Valencia.

We rent bikes and start at the Valencia marina. We soon leave the city behind us on perfectly developed cycle paths and reach the wide sandy beach.
Large parts of the tour are dominated by the rice fields outside the city gates. Valencia …

A ride as flat as paella in the rice fields near Valencia.
Wind, canals and smoke from the burnt fields make everything magical and the Spanish suburbs become almost South American.

My classic tour whith west wind. The Devesa dunes, Gola de Puzol, El Palmar, crossing Albufera and back via Silla (with a nice cold 0,00% cerveca tostada on a sunny terras) to VLC via the ruta collesterol.

Couldn't help myself. Needed more of this wonderfull environment. Wind, sun, endless views, birds, rice fields and orange graves. Did opposite direction today but heaven has no entry or exit door. Just enjoy the ride.
My church, where I heal my hurts, is open again. Perfect riding conditions to ElPalmar and via Albufera to Silla. Only a small part of the ruta cholesteral still affected. As I approached Valencia traces remain from Dana (cars pilled up and garden fences with rubish)
What a hell of a job done by the volenteers.
Great ride.
