Far enough from San Antonio to keep the crowds away, but still within walking distance is the Cala Gracio bay, a more or less typical Ibiza beach with fine, light sand and turquoise water - you'll definitely come back here. The hotels and apartment complexes nearby are hidden behind pine trees, so you get a feeling of seclusion in the bay, even though it's so practically close to San Antonio.
The water is shallow and very protected thanks to the bay extending far inland - perfect for children and less experienced swimmers. The shape of the beach is a bit unusual, it is wider than its length and slopes gently towards the sea. If the children haven't had enough of the sea and sand, there are some quaint boat huts, rocky sections and pine trees to discover. For adventurers, the rocks offer an exciting snorkeling area.
