At the summit we can find a geodesic vertex (reference 283124001), and also if you can find the cross that gives the summit its name. The original cross was built around 1909 in memory of Joseph Rifà i Munt, who died in 1900. Beneath it, on land occupied by the La Creu de l'Aragall housing estate, is the Plan of the Volunteers, where in 1811 Colonel Manso trained a large group of volunteers (around 20,000) who formed the Catalunya Hunter Battalion, also known as Batalló Manso.
