Located at an altitude of 1,667 meters on the Puig Sesolles near the Turó de l'Home, the transmission detachment was built in 1974, with capacity for about 70 soldiers, for which it had turret and parabolic antennas. It also had a soldier's home building with a library and a heliport.

In 2010 the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya installed new automatic measurement equipment. The building has a perimeter protection fence.

Turó de l'Home

Highlight • Summit

Turó de l'Home is the highest mountain in the Montseny massif, in Spain, with a height of 1712 m, which places it above the other two most representative peaks of the massif, Les Agudes and El Matagalls. The peak and the nearby mountains act as a watershed between the Santa Fe stream and the source of the Tordera River.
