El Pardo Square

Highlight • Settlement

Beyond the famous anecdote of the continuous theft of the plaque that gave its name to the Plaza "del Caudillo", the Plaza de El Pardo is known because the painter Francisco de Goya Lucientes lived there for many years, in the old house of Postas that was located in this square.
Today, in the place that this building used to occupy, there is a hotel establishment, called 'La Marquesita'.

Manzanares River

Highlight • River

The Manzanares River is unique in many parts of its route.
Undoubtedly, one of the most curious is the drain of the El Pardo reservoir, in which we see the Manzanares pass through tubes that impress up close.

El Pardo Reservoir

Highlight • Structure

The most unique thing about the El Pardo reservoir is the drain through which we see the Manzanares river pass.
The natural park up there is very beautiful, with a pleasant route and good views.

I didn't find the way to the reservoir !!
Guess that's all locked!
The trail was nice along the river.
The village is a big barracks so nothing can be visited!
