In 2008, the new beach Playa de la Enramada in La Caleta was opened. Until now, it has been rebuilt and therefore now offers the best possible environment to spend a day at the beach. Some of the sand used comes from so-called Callao pebbles that were found there before the beach was built. The pebbles were ground and mixed with sand from the bottom of the ocean.
