This segment of the Eastern Trail runs from Kennebunk to Biddeford on a wide dirt road, passing through forests and wetlands. This trail is popular with cyclists as well as runners so keep an ear out for other users as you hike along this trail.

Highlight • Historical Site

Biddeford main is a scenic town with plenty of history. A popular sightseeing destination is the Pepperell Mill Campus. This mill is bellied up along the river and has taken a recent resurgence. You can get a tour of the mill and its underground lagoon, but many of the buildings are being repurposed into shops and living quarters.
