The road down to this bridge is just a rough farm road and I had to get off and walk, but it would be ok for MTB's

Over Dinsdale Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

Over Dinsdale Bridge carries the road and NCN165 across the Tees. It's thought that the Roman's built a bridge here, but nothing remains of this crossing. The current bridge is the third modern (ish) bridge, it was built in the late 1800s and strengthened in 1956 and again in 1993.

Cow Field

Highlight • Natural

The path cuts directly through the field but try to stick to the edges of the cows are out as they will get a bit close and follow you.

St John the Baptist Church, Low Dinsdale

Highlight • Religious Site

Low Dinsdale is a sleepy hamlet in a tranquil position by the River Tees. Here, you find a 12th-century church, St John the Baptist, and a medieval moated manor, which is a Scheduled Monument (unfortunately this is on private land, though). A little further downstream you step into Dinsdale Wood, a peaceful woodland that is carpeted with wild garlic in spring.
