Big Moor is a big moor....ok it's a great way of getting from Totley Moor towards Baslow. Beware as it can be incredibly boggy so keep to the proper path. …

Great views across Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. Love seeing the heather on the moorland blend into the high rise flats of Sheffield. Loads of walking around here plus a few bridleway bike options too.

Eagle Stone

Highlight • Climb

The Eagle Stone is a well-weathered block of gritstone that is steeped in local folklore. Apparently, local men had to climb the stone to demonstrate their eligibility to marry. These days, it’s a popular bouldering spot with spectacular panoramic views.

Baslow Edge

Highlight • Climb

This dramatic gritstone edge offers wonderful views over the Peaks, towards the Chatsworth Estate and beyond. It is lovely moorland single track riding up here; ruts, stones, grit and heather. Perfect.

Great descent, lots of rocky features down a very wide bridleway. Lot's of faster smoother lines to take on the sides if you didn't fancy the sneaky step downs.

The first section over Moss Road provides an easy intro into ride, with some views across to Sheffield and beyond.
The middle has a couple of road sections so care is needed.
The final section sees the intensity slightly increase with a slightly technical section with the descent off Curbar Edge.

Little ride to see what the trails are like in preparation for a guided ride booking.
Most of the moors are pretty muddy with some deep bogs to catch you out. Pretty standard after all the rain we’ve had. Hopefully a bit of sun over the next couple of days will dry things out a bit.
Great views as always. …
Great to go out biking and not get mudded up or wet
Never seen moss road so dry
If you own an Mtb, this is the ride for you, totally amazing place to ride, fresh air, views and brilliant fun. Go Enjoy ..... but watch out those pesky cows !!
Decided to get togged-up for a winter mud bath and the Eastern Moors didn't disappoint. Slip, slide, splish & splosh along Froggatt Edge, no spectacular views today through the thick misty gloom.
Warm & dry inside my clobber, once I got plastered in mud, I really enjoyed the ride although it was very boggy in places over the moor. A …
A really good chill ride not alot ups and not alot downs 😌
The ground has thawed + some heavy rain, splish, 💦splash, splosh, but NO CLAG over the moors,🧦 waterproof socks means no problem 😜.
Classic run along the rocky edges, then up through Longshaw. It's not every day you meet the air ambulance 🚁👨‍⚕️ parked on the trail. Nor wild swimmer in the little Barbrook reservoir when it's partially covered with …
