Kingston is a buzzing area of London that has a thriving riverside eatery scene. Here you can watch the boats go by, have something to eat, and at the same time have a great view of one of London’s oldest bridges.  Kingston Bridge is built of Portland stone and comprises five beautiful elliptical arches. Just a super place to take some time out.

Home Park via Barge Walk

Highlight • Viewpoint

Going past Hampton Court bridge northbound, cross the road at traffic light to start journey on Barge Walk, running alongside a bend of the River Thames, where from the start of Barge Walk there are four gates - Jubilee gate (with steps), Ditton gate, Surbiton passage and Kingston (Only Kingston gate is marked outside). Run two miles until you see Ravens ait island where you'll see lots of boats. On your left, there is the Surbiton passage gate (not marked outside) to enter the Home Park, overlooking a glimpse of the Hampton Court Palace and the Long Water. The wonderful view from afar. Seems like a free pass to the palace. Whiz past compact grass path to reach the Kingston gate.

Home Park (aka Hampton Court Park) is currently open from 07:00 - 20:00 daily.
