November 30, 2021,R11 Ixworth Millers' Trail
Windmills are the iconic landmarks of East Anglia, and this route follows the Millers’ Trail, visiting a handful of historic mills, starting and ending in Ixworth, one of the loveliest Tudor villages in Suffolk. Hopping between windmills and watermills, we also pass Wyken Hall Gardens & Vineyard, and Mickle Mere Nature Reserve, a man-made haven for native and migrant waterbirds.
