The railway bridge leading over the Nister near Erbach was the largest concrete bridge in Germany when it was completed in 1911. With a length of about 300 m and a height of almost 40 m, at that time still built without steel reinforcement, it was considered a miracle of technology. After the Erbach – Fehl-Ritzhausen railway was closed in 1971 for passenger traffic, the Erbacher Bridge was preserved as a technical monument. The "water bridge" is also worth mentioning.
