Rocky Trail in the Forest

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Komoot Guided me that way and the path is marked for hikers. Sometimes is diet where you can drive on, but most of the time it's an very uneven Path out of Rocks. I couldn't drive that with all my Bags.

Villa Bellavista

Highlight • Historical Site

Purchased between 1938 and 1939 by the Opera Nazionale Sovvenzioni
Antincendi - an organization with welfare functions of the National Fire Brigade Corps - the Villa was initially intended as a Rest Home
for the Fire Brigade personnel, then as a Summer Camp for the children of Fire Brigades from all over Italy.
Following the events of the Second World War, the
real estate complex was first declared a permanent colony, then used
as a Military Hospital for German troops and, later,
American troops. After the war, demanding
adaptation work was carried out to accommodate a large community of
war orphans, children of Fire Brigades.
The noble institution, inaugurated in 1950, received authoritative
Italian and foreign recognition for its excellent organization and
management; but, later, having lost the social
purposes for which it was created, it had to close in 1968.
