Museum Fish-Farming Homestead in Kaszczorek

Highlight • Historical Site

An atmospheric place with soul. A beautifully located tiny branch of the Ethnographic Museum.
Visiting the interior is by appointment, but you can walk around the buildings and admire the old art of rural construction. Really worth.

St. Adalbert's Church, Złotoria

Highlight • Religious Site

Church of Adalbert in Złotoria.
The date of construction of the original church building in Złotoria is unknown. In 1807, this church was demolished by the Napoleonic army, and the obtained building material was used to build fortifications during the siege of Toruń. In place of the former church, a chapel was moved from the nearby forest, which burned down in 1821. Then a wooden church was built here, which was demolished in 1904. In 1906, a neo-Gothic church was built on the site of the wooden church, which still stands today. Only the main altar was moved from the wooden church.

Raftsman's Monument in Złotoria

Highlight • Monument

Monument to a rafter in Złotoryja (made and unveiled in 2013).
In the past, the name flis meant the floating of goods using river ships and boats. Rafters, on the other hand, were called those who dealt with floating goods. Apart from rafting, there was another type of rafting, the so-called orylka. The eagles were lower than the rafters in the social hierarchy, and they dealt with floating wood on primitive rafts.
When the railways took over the transport of goods, rafting was limited to wood. Oryle then took over the name from the rafters.
The rafters from Toruń lived mainly in the settlement of Rybaki on the Vistula, while their colleagues from near Toruń lived in the nearby towns of Złotoria and Kaszczorek.

Złotoria–Osiek nad Wisłą Bike Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

A very cleverly designed bike path. Close to a busy road and most of the route runs through the forest. From Grabowiec (if you're going in the direction of Toruń) there's a predominance of gravel, paved surfaces, which makes the ride pleasant and easy for most types of tires.
