Born in 1803, this place comes from a long family tradition, friendly place with cheap prices, it's one of my favorite place to stop during my rides, for a coffee in the morning or to eat something in the end of my rides.
Definitively one of my favorite places.

Church of San Severo and Santa Brigida, Semonzo del Grappa

It is named after San Severo of Ravenna and a Saint Bridget that is difficult to identify. It was built in 1756 based on a project by Giovanni Miazzi to replace the previous one, which was badly damaged during the 1695 earthquake. We know from a map of the following year that this was oriented towards the east, while the current building faced north.
It has very balanced neoclassical lines. The interior, with a single nave, is decorated at the corners with the Four Evangelists, frescoes painted by an anonymous painter from the Piazzetta school. Above the gate known as "della Cenghia" (it addresses the village of the same name) there is a Visitation of the Bassano school, originally located on an altar in the old parish church. The tables of the Via Crucis, dating back to the 18th century, also deserve a mention.
