Ascent to Dobel

In the center of Bad Herrenalb branching off at the roundabout, the driveway to Dobel begins.

The road first runs with a slight incline (<5%) to the exit of the town, then it becomes temporarily steeper. If you have gained some height, you have a view of the falcon rocks on the other side of the valley. In the further course the road winds through the forest up the mountain without ramps or strikingly steep sections without a serpentine.

The forest clears 500m before the village, there is a turnoff towards Neusatz, but the climb continues straight ahead. The slope continues in town until the street turns left. The climb is done. There is a café just behind the curve for a well-deserved break.
