At least as of 6/2022, the route here is paved and easy to drive on. It goes through a forest and is fun to cycle here.

May 17, 2024,Mit dem Fahrrad zur Wimbachklamm 🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️

Today we went to the Wimbachklamm by e-bike. After a short detour to the parish church of St. Sebastian in Ramsau, we went to the Wimbachklamm car park. From there we walked through the gorge. The path through the gorge is relatively short, but definitely worth it.

Shitty signage of the closed paths. Not worthy for a tourist region. Smooth 5 minus. It is completely normal that the locks are necessary due to the storm damage. Closures should not be posted just before the construction site, but before going down the mountain.

First test with ups and downs. The Shimano motor pushes really well and is really fun. Wimbachklam is definitely worth it. Not so crowded at Königssee today, everything was very relaxed at 22 🌡️🌤️
