The hiking season is open! In bright sunshine we went from the parking lot at the Erlach Main Bridge over the Main to the Neustadt monastery. The round starts in Neustadt am Main, over the footbridge to the other side to the Rothenfels lock.
There cross the Main again, through the village, and climb up countless steps to the castle.
From the castle over the hill, following the Main hiking trail back to Neustadt am Main.
