On the Wittow peninsula to
Cape Arkona, then to the northernmost point of Rügen and to the Jasmund Bodden. 👍
Beautiful tour with sun and east wind and always wonderful views. 🤩

A very nice round through forest and field almost always along the water at 17 degrees and blue sky

The start is in Altenkirchen. After a few kilometers, a large stone grave bears witness to the settlement of Rügen since the Stone Age. In a depression to the shore, the tiny, picturesque village of Vitt surprises us and takes us back to the time of the 19th century. Cape Arkona on the northern tip of the island is a …

Today was the best cycling weather. Cloudy and around 20 degrees. To see a bit more of the island, we strapped our bikes onto the car and drove to Breege. From there the destination was Kap Arkona and then back along the coast via Wiek. Was a nice round trip 😊🚴 ♀️

First of all: I'm giving this tour 5 out of 5 stars again. Simply wonderful!
We parked and set off on the beautiful beach with the finest white sand between Glowe and Juliusruh.
After finding and admiring the funny animal sculptures in Juliansruh, we headed along the eastern coast towards Cape Arkona – vast grain fields on one side and …

You really have to be free from giddiness, because sometimes it was quite steep downhill to the side and the path runs right on the edge. There are wonderful places along the tour where you can stop off everywhere.

The goal was to drive down the …

What a wonderful tour!
Almost the first half, from Breege to the Nonnevitz campsite, we followed the cliffs, past the village of Vitt to Cape Arkona with its beacon tower and lighthouse, to Gellort, the northernmost point of the island of Rügen, and finally through the legendary fairytale forest.
The second half of the tour was characterized by lonely country …
