The first 8 km from Rinderberg it was about 500 m down into the Simmental, then 1000 steep m up to the Gestelenpass and from there for about 40 km through the beautiful Diemtig valley to Lake Thun a total of about 1300 m down. Once again a great and not so strenuous stage.
