The Amsterdam Maritime Museum is definitely worth a visit. No matter whether for big or small. The sailing ship itself is a real eye-opener and very fascinating.

This is what prompted my spontaneous visit to Amsterdam.
@Marc had the Amsterdam Lights on his tour and I wanted to go too🤭.
It was really worth it. I didn't need the sleet shower though, after that the rest was an absolute slippery ride.
Officially the circular route is about 6.5 km long, but somehow I didn't have enough 🤷‍♀️.

The 13th time that the Amsterdam Light Festival is held in Amsterdam. This year with the theme 'Rituals'. This year it coincides with the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. For a year, residents, districts and institutions celebrate and commemorate the unique character of Amsterdam.

Always fun, a stroll through illuminated Amsterdam! It's cold though!

Showing Translation

On the evening of December 26th, I went on another tour through Amsterdam, focusing on the light installations. Unfortunately, everything seemed to have lost its appeal. I enjoyed the Festival of Lights more the last time I went three years ago.

Showing Translation

Today I went for a walk to see the light art in Amsterdam. You can also do it with a canal cruise, of course. But on foot it's better to stop and look at the lights for longer. Great tour without rain. It was definitely worth it. 🥾👌✅💯🇳🇱
