There are definitely nicer routes. Without the E...there are steep sections and a lot of main road. I wouldn't do it again. The tunnel is interesting, but there's not much of a route directly along the lake.

Compared to Traunsee, Attersee and Wolfgangsee, it is a bit smaller but very nice to get around. Lots of cycle paths and few main roads. Also suitable for children. Very beautiful landscape,
and the water quality, like the others, is crystal clear and simply beautiful.
