Because of the persistent rain, we started our "this year's" bike tour by train from Strass im Strassertal via Vienna to Carnantum. There we briefly visited the numerous legacies of the Romans, fortified ourselves with delicious curd cheese strudel and cycled the short distance to the motel in Hainburg.
