In the best hiking weather, I walked from the Klamm-Schottwien train station to the Speckbacherhütte and back to the train station. As soon as you reach Breitenstein, it's unfortunately an asphalt road. The Speckbacherhütte can also be reached by car, so it was overcrowded. I refrained from stopping.
