The Postiljon walking club from Merelbeke organized these walks of varying distances in the Kalkense Meersen.
My walk followed the Kalkense Vaart canal to the ferry on the Scheldt River. I continued along the Scheldt dike towards Uitbergen. A loop was planned around Uitbergen. Then I returned to Kalken through the meadows, where the lookout tower provided some beautiful panoramic …
