From the highest point of the ridge in Lagoon Valley Park there is a straight view down into what looks like a Concentration Camp: California State Prison - Solano. The male-only prison holds over 5000 inmates, double its design capacity. The adjacent California Medical Facility prison has a design capacity of 2,179 but a total institution population of over 3,000 sick inmates.
