Bog of Doom Bridleway

Highlight • Cycleway

Good luck! 😅😂

Seriously, it’s pretty sketchy when it’s been raining - the farm vehicles create huge ruts, and the banks get very slippery.

Brilliant day out on the trails with @Abi ☺️🌳 Such a beautiful day for riding, you just cant stop for too long, or frostbite becomes a very real possibility 🥶😂

We did the whole Tramway Trail at Calke, and i also did Jaguar Lount Woods on the way back.
A rainy ride through Calke and Jaguar Lount Wood to Ashby via gravel and bridleways. Its been so hot recently that the gravel trails have cracked! It was such a joy to cycle in the drizzle, and I arrived in Ashby with mud splattered all over my legs 😄
So good to be out there on dry trails, it kinda feels like flying!
Went into the bird hide for the first time ever and saw some cute blue tits! 🐦
With blue chilly frost clinging to the foliage in the shade, and sunshine warming my face, the ride up into Derbyshire was glorious!
Reccying some the route for @Forest Gravel Cycling Club School Night Sunset Rides! 🌅💫🚵🏼
😅 had to haul my bike over a small tree that was blocking the trail. A puncture, but the little locknut was jammed on the presta valve..... had to walk back theough the woods to be rescued 😅😅😅
