becareful it can be easily missed (signposts are not great), mainly an uphill section

Blue 4 Trail, Swinley Forest

Highlight • MTB Park

This is an exciting mixed track featuring hills, dips, and jumps that wind through the pine forest. Additionally, there’s a fun narrow wooden plank to navigate.

Swinley Forest Blue Trail

Highlight • MTB Park

A great place to bring beginners to build confidence! The blue loop at Swinley Forest is a moderately graded route, great for new mountain bikers to progress on.

If you're happy with the blue, you can easily link this up to the red route too.

So many berms and tight corners through this section of the blue-graded MTB route! It's relatively flat, so you'll need to pedal through these. If you visit in July like I did, you'll find that seeing where the trail goes next can sometimes be tricky due to the thick bracken.

A really cracking section for that cornering practice!

Swinley Forest — Red Trailhead

Highlight • MTB Park

Here's the crossroads at the top of a steep fire road climb. At the top of the climb, turn left to find the start of a few very interesting downhill sections, rated blue, red or black. Something for everyone!

The correct name for this trail is Red 32 - Tank Traps. It makes up part of the Red trail loop within Swinley Forest. The 'swooping' section is the last part of Red 32. The photos make it look bigger than it actually is. Good fun though and worthwhile doing. Just beware there's a drop-in at the start of this gully.

The tracks at Swinley Forest have a very firm surface and good drainage, which makes it a good place to ride in the winter without the risk of getting too muddy!

There's a blue route in the north by the trail centre (Swinley Bike Hub), and the red route in the south with a few more testing sections.

Sweeping Slalom Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

This section has obviously been remade and a very nice section of the trail..credit to the trail builders with some nice flowing berms and some smaller rollable table tops.

September 21, 2022,We Need to Talk About Swinley🗣
The opportunity to ride Swinley came up last week. The general impression I'd gleaned from those that had been was that it was well worth the visit. Having now been, I'm undecided as to whether that's strictly the case.

The Green and the Blue sections 1-12 left me cold. Not a good start then. True I'd give it a plus …
Been a fair while since Me & Inch High Private Eye rode the Trails. Bloody Marvellous to be out 😊
First time back on the Yellow Trails for the 1st time in a long time, alongside The BMX Bandits minus 🪜 !

This has to be one of the most awesome mountain bike tracks within a close proximity to London. The people who have made and maintain these tracks have done a really fantastic job. Some of the best cambered corners in the UK
Smashed my knee into the handlebars when unable to unclip quick enough going uphill over roots , fell over sideways but my handlebars swung backwards . Following Wednesday ended up getting stomach bug which knocked me out for the following weekend, 2 bouts of illness in 3 weeks.
